Father of Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, Alhaji Ademola Fashola is DEAD. He died in the early hours of today, 5th Monday, 8, 2013, after a brief illness. The Governor is airborne his way back home now from Umrah, saudi Arabia.
Late Pa Fashola was a great grandson of the late philanthropist, Bello Fashola who was a close friend of Oba Esugbayi, who ruled as the Oba of Lagos back then. The deceased’s great grandfather was instrumental to his return to Lagos in 1932 after the Eleko was banished by colonial authorities around 1925.
He was Aged 80.
